Edgar Barrera leads 2026 Latin Grammys with 10 nominations

The Latin Recording Academy released the full list of nominees for the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards on Wednesday, and one name appears more often than any other: Edgar Barrera.

The Mexican songwriter has picked up ten nominations, most of them linked to work he did for Karol G and Carín León, and he features in all three of the night’s general categories: Record, Album and Song of the Year. The ceremony, the 27th in the history of the awards, will take place on 12 November at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
