Hollywood actor Eddie Murphy has reportedly agreed to a child maintenance increase with Mel B for their 15-year-old daughter, Angel Iris Murphy Brown.
He will now pay $35,000 (£31,587) in monthly child support for his teenage daughter. This child support agreement comes two years after Mel B originally filed papers.
Court documents seen by the Daily Mail show the parents have agreed to a new child support arrangement after Mel B cited a change in her income.
But how did Eddie and Mel meet and were they ever in an official relationship?

How did Eddie Murphy and Mel B meet?
Mel B and Eddie originally met in 2006 at a Beverly Hills party following the actor's divorce from his ex-wife Nicole Mitchell.
The singer claimed that it was 'love at first sight' and writing in her 2018 memoir, Brutally Honest, Mel remembered: "It was as if a 2,000-volt electric current had passed between us."
Mel continued: "I felt a hundred different emotions at once, from confused to elated, to happy to scared, to relaxed to incredulous, and everything in between.
"I felt I had known this man all my life and that I was staring at my destiny in his face."
The former Spice Girl's relationship with the ex-Saturday Night Live cast member soon began to blossom, with Eddie asking Mel to move in shortly after their first meeting.
Mel declined the offer but Eddie gave her a credit card and said it would "make him happy" if she was to use it.
However, she returned the card after a few weeks of dating, with the singer insisting that they did not sleep together until six weeks after they first hooked up.
In a draft extract of her memoir that was seen by the Daily Mail, she wrote: "When it happened it wasn't sex.
"It was like poetry, every touch, every kiss every sense out of this world.
"We were both completely besotted with each other."
She also wrote in her memoir that Eddie had asked her father for her hand in marriage and he had her name tattooed on his thigh.
When did Mel B fall pregnant with Eddie Murphy's child?
In an interview with Essence Magazine in 2007, Mel B admitted that the couple made a joint decision to have her IUD removed in order to conceive a baby by Christmas 2006.
Just weeks after the IUD was removed, Angel Iris was conceived.
Mel B said: "It happened quicker than we expected but it was perfect timing … This was a completely planned pregnancy. This wasn’t some random ‘Oops, I fell over and I’m pregnant.’ I don’t live my life like that. I’m a responsible parent and have been a responsible single parent since I got divorced.
"This is the one thing that really annoys me. If I wanted to have a baby I would have had a baby a long time ago. I wouldn’t have waited eight years to have another one."
Why did Eddie Murphy and Mel B split?
Soon after Mel B fell pregnant, her relationship with the Hollywood actor soon began to unravel after just six months of dating.
Mel moved back to London after Eddie claimed that he wasn't even sure whether the unborn child was his.
The Nutty Professor star told a reporter: "I don't know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn't jump to conclusions, sir."
This left the former Spice Girl heartbroken and she recalled to Piers Morgan on his show, Life Stories: "We were both to blame. I wouldn’t have said that publicly and he apologises to this day about that.
"He wishes he never said it, because that baby was planned; we planned that baby together and we were madly in love and it just went wrong, dramatically went wrong."
Angel was born on April 3, 2007, which was Eddie's 46th birthday.
Two months later, on June 22, Mel announced that a DNA test had confirmed that Eddie was the father but he hasn't really bonded with his daughter until recent years.
What was their original child maintenance agreement?
The new child maintenance agreement comes two years after Mel B filed papers requesting more financial assistance.
The Shrek actor had been paying the singer $25,000 (£22,553) a month, which is $300,000 (£271,543) a year, since they settled their paternity battle back in February 2009.
The new modified agreement says Eddie, who is identified in the filing as an 'extraordinarily high earner', will have to now give an extra $10,000 (£9,000) a month.
The payments are to be made from October 2021 up until Angel turns 18.
Murphy also agreed to cover Brown's attorney fees which were $10,000.
According to the Daily Mail, the court documents say: "The parties agree that Respondent (Murphy) is an 'extraordinarily high earner,'
"The amount of child support set forth hereinbelow has been calculated based on the reasonable needs of the minor child...
"Commencing October 1, 2021, as and for child support for the benefit of Angel, Respondent shall pay to Petitioner the sum of $35,000 per month.
"Child support shall be payable via wire transfer, and shall be due on the first calendar day of each month."
However, the filing states that the singer will be responsible for any 'add-on' costs.
This can include health care, education expenses, health insurance and extracurricular activities.
Mel has two children outside of her relationship with Eddie: Phoenix Chi Gulzar, aged 23, and Madison Brown Belafonte, aged 11.
