Eddie Jones reveals much-changed England team to face Grand Slam-chasing France

Eddie Jones has rung the changes to his England side ahead of their Paris date with Grand Slam-chasing France.

George Furbank replaces Freddie Steward at fullback with the Leicester star moving to the right wing in place of dropped Max Malins.

Ben Youngs returns at scrum-half to take on the world's best player Antoine Dupont, and there are three changes to the pack.

Kyle Sinckler's failed head injury assessment a week ago costs him his starting role, which goes to tighthead Will Stuart. But he is named on the bench.

Nick Isiekwe takes over at lock from the suspended Charlie Ewels, sent off against Ireland and subsequently banned for three games.

Sam Underhill makes his first start since November, slotting into the back row at openside in the absence of injured Tom Curry.

Head coach Eddie Jones said: “This is our strongest 23 for the game against France.

“We are disappointed not to be in the contention for the trophy but last week’s effort against Ireland was full of pride, energy and tactical discipline.

“We have focused on refreshing the team this week and we are ready to empty the tank on Saturday.”
