Eddie Jones yesterday walked into a Perth bowls club here on the banks of the Swan River, dropped one bombshell and then declared the build-up to tomorrow’s First Test against Australia was too quiet for his liking.
Once Jones had detonated the explosion that Owen Farrell would not be returning as captain for tomorrow’s tour opener, he complained about the lack of verbal jousting with his opposite number, Dave Rennie.
