Eddie Howe has delivered a scary message to the rest of the Premier League after the 1-0 win over Everton.
With Newcastle flying, and in their best form in 10 years, Howe has played down the performance against the Toffees despite three points and despite the fact his side created 16 goal attempts.
And while Howe encouraged his players to celebrate the victory last night at St James' Park he also underlined that there is room for improvement and the need to go again on Sunday away to Spurs.

Howe said: "It was a hard-fought win. I don't think it was our best performance with the ball tonight, but certainly defensively we were very good, very disciplined.
"It was a real battle in midfield, I thought it was very physical game. Big compliment to the players and what they've given to get the three points."
The other key message from Howe was to manage the expectations around the place after the win kept Newcastle in a European spot.
He said: “I don't think we're looking at necessarily longer-term targets for the season, we're just trying to give our best in every game. I know that's not the answer that you'll want to hear, but that's where we are at the moment. We're not putting any pressure on ourselves internally other than giving our best and trying to win every game."
