Callum Wilson has been kicking a ball again as the Newcastle United number nine steps up his recovery from injury.
Wilson has not played since suffering a calf injury in the 1-1 draw against Manchester United back in December. Eddie Howe originally thought that Wilson would be sidelined for two months, but the Newcastle head coach later admitted that the striker could be out until the 'final games' of the season after his recovery took longer than expected.
Wilson has since received specialist treatment in Dubai and London and the 30-year-old has been making progress with his recovery. In fact, Wilson has even told supporters that he hopes to return to action next month.
