Eddie Hearn has revealed he gave Dana White tips about hosting a stadium show when the pair met at UFC London last weekend.
Matchroom Boxing promoter Hearn joined heavyweight fighters Anthony Joshua, Derek Chisora and Frazer Clarke as invited guests of White. And Hearn has admitted he advised White about a whole host of stadiums which might be suitable for an event in the UK, including Liverpool's Anfield home.
"It was quite interesting to learn about the sport and see it up close," Hearn said on the DAZN Boxing Show.
""No no business talk, It was more about that there was a huge amounts of Brits on the card and he was saying 'It is unbelievable all these Brits are winning, normally we come to the UK once a year but we may have to come back in the summer'.
"I was talking to him a bit about some stadiums that are here, obviously you had two scousers on the card so we were talking a bit about Anfield. He was educating me about the fighters and during the fight he was saying like 'look at the hold he has got there, he can't breathe' and it was an amazing experience to watch it up close. He's a legendary promoter Dana White so it was amazing to watch that whole machine in flow."
Hearn and White have spoken about their positive relationship in the past with the boxing promoter also expressing his admiration of the UFC's business model. White and Hearn could yet do business together with Kamaru Usman plotting a boxing clash with Canelo Alvarez in the latest attempt at a crossover bout.
