Eddie Hearn was asked "what Anthony Joshua's a*** smells like" during an outlandish appearance on Capital FM with ' I'm a Celebrity ' star Roman Kemp.
The Matchroom Boxing boss was appearing on Kemp's show, and appeared in a popular segment known as 'Home Truths', in which the guest exchanges insults with the radio DJ. Hearn mercilessly mocked the 30-year-old for the involvement of his dad; Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp, in the forging of his radio career.
In return, Kemp joked that Hearn was only in his position as a result of being the son of legendary promoter Barry, as well as joking about his facial hair and other aspects of his appearance. And in one particularly nasty jibe, the radio host asked Hearn how former world heavyweight champion Joshua's "a***" smells, implying that Hearn brown-noses his fighter.
"You’ve spoken a lot about money, we can all throw figures around," Kemp said, building up to his punchline. "You’re a boxing promoter, you must buy the finest things in life, food, colognes, fragrances, so you must have a good nose, so I just wanted to know, what does Anthony Joshua ’s a**e smell like?"
Hearn, who had previously been on top in the exchange, joked that it was "really good", responding: "You’re right, that close relationship has brought me extreme wealth, for you, I’m not saying money is your key motivator but let’s revert to point one, when you have no talent and no ability I think you need to do one of two things.

"I think you need to save your money because I think your career is extremely limited… I think, you have to look at yourself and ask where am I going, but I think the answer is, down very fast."
In an earlier jibe, Hearn accused the radio host of having "no ability", jokingly insisting that he was only on the radio because of his father. "You my friend are only famous because of your dad," he laughed after being told he was only in boxing because of his own father. "I think your dad knew somebody at Capital FM.
"I think the conversation went something like this, ‘Remember when I did all those favours for you, I used to come on your show and sing live, well, my son is pretty useless to be honest… I need a favour, he’s got no talent, no ability, he’s got no prospects, if you could just give him a job, cleaning, running coffee, anything’. The guy said, ‘I promised you a big favour, I’m gonna put him in front of the mic’."
