Ed Sheeran wins High Court case which claimed he stole Shape of You hit from Sami Switch

Ed Sheeran has won a High Court battle which accused him of copying another artist's song in his 2017 hit Shape of You.

The judge gave their verdict this morning on whether the 2015 song Oh Why was replicated.

Sheeran wrote Shape Of You with Snow Patrol’s John McDaid and producer Steven McCutcheon, and they all denied ripping off the song by Sami Chokri.
