An Ed Sheeran listening bench has popped up in a Dublin park.
Warner Music Ireland has put up the music bench in Merrion Square to promote Ed's upcoming album 'Subtract'. The bright yellow bench allows fans to listen to Ed's music and exclusive voice notes about his new tracks by scanning the QR code on the bench leg.
The hit-maker's new album will be coming out on May 5. It will include a total of 14 tracks which he recorded, produced and co-wrote along with Aaron Dessner of band The National, who also worked with Taylor Swift on Folklore (2020), and Evermore (2020).

Ed and Aaron penned over thirty songs together during a month-long studio session, reducing the final output to 14. His concert in Dublin's 3Arena last month was the first of a mini-tour to complement the upcoming release.
Ed announced his new album on social media earlier this year saying, "I had been working on Subtract for a decade, trying to sculpt the perfect acoustic album, writing and recording hundreds of songs with a clear vision of what I thought it should be. Then at the start of 2022, a series of events changed my life, my mental health, and ultimately the way I viewed music and art."
The listening bench is no longer there today.
