Tennent's proudly boasted about their "new toy" during the Ed Sheeran concert as fans were able to pour their own beer at Hampden.
The Scottish brewing giants tweeted a clip on social media of one punter helping himself to a couple of pints thanks to the dispenser with a message "our new toy".
But watching the video didn't go down well with football fans who were left envious over the fact they still can't purchase alcohol inside football grounds in Scotland.
Booze has been banned at fixtures north of the border since the infamous Scottish Cup final riot when Rangers and Celtic fans battled on the pitch at Hampden.
An emergency law was introduced following the shameful scenes after the match but there have ben calls for it to be lifted.
The alcohol ban for rugby matches at Murrayfield was lifted in 2007 but at football fixtures only those with corporate hospitality are allowed to consume alcohol.
And watching Sheeran supporters try out the Tennent's machine inside the country's national football stadium didn't go down too well with fans.
One responded on social media: "Can't wait to try it next time at a Scotland game or semi/final... oh, wait, never mind."
Another said: "This would be great at football but never going to happen."
And one fan added: "If it's okay for concerts can we start having them at football like every other country?" with another saying: "It's about time football fans get the pleasure of buying a beer at the football."
