Ed Sheeran fans were absolutely delighted today after the singer announced that he is putting on a gig in Scotland this month.
The Bad Habits chanter will entertain crowds at Glasgow's OVO Hydro on Thursday, March 28, before he heads off to Dublin's 3 Arena on Thursday, March 30.
Tickets for Ed's surprise Scottish show, with Cian Ducrot supporting him, will be available from Ticketmaster on Friday March 4, at 9am.
Many of his fans have expressed their excitement on Twitter, with one person commenting: "Ed sheeran… coming to Glasgow ovo hydro… end of this month!!!!!"
Another tweeted: "Glasgow," with a love heart emoji. While another ecstatic fan wrote: "The hydro glasgow. So much BETTER than Hampden where I've also seen him twice. The sound at Hampden gigs to Hydro is just awful if your not facing directly onto the stage. So if your ever going don't get seats to the side of stage."
A fourth penned: "Buzzing wee Ed is coming to the hydro - and we only need to wait a few weeeeekssss!!!!"
We told you earlier how Ed shared the tragic inspiration behind his upcoming album, revealing that wife Cherry Seaborn had an 'inoperable' tumour during her pregnancy.
Ahead of the release of album '-' (Subtract) this weekend, the 32-year-old has revealed the inspiration to writing this album was one of personal grief and hope.
In a recent interview, the pop sensation said Cherry had 'no route to treatment' until after the birth of their child.
