Ed Sheeran fans who haven't already got tickets for his Cardiff shows this May have another opportunity with more seated and standing tickets being released this week. The Bad Habits singers' gigs will take place at the Principality Stadium on May 26, 27 and 28 and the fresh batch of tickets will be released at 10am, Friday April 29.
You'll be able to buy the tickets from various vendors, see below, as well as Ed's website and the Principality Stadium website. His Welsh gigs will form part of the first leg of his ‘+ - = ÷ x Tour’ (pronounced ‘The Mathematics Tour’) , taking place in stadiums throughout 2022. The tour will see him play 27 shows across the UK, Ireland, Central Europe and Scandinavia.
This tour will be the first time the singer returns to stadiums since his record-breaking ‘Divide Tour’: taking place from 2017-2019, it officially became the most-attended and highest-grossing tour, ever, by the time of its completion.
In his first night on that tour, he told the huge crowd: "Hello Cardiff. I haven't packed a gig in Cardiff since 2014 and it was a lot smaller than this.
"I've just done a big UK and Ireland stadium tour and this is by far my favourite stadium I've played."
"I'm so excited because I know the Welsh are bloody nuts!"
