Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry joined the mourning crowds in West London last night to pay their respects to Jamal Edwards.
The music mogul was largely responsible for Ed's rise to fame after the Shape of You singer performed regularly on Jamal's SBTV channel.
Jamal, 31, died suddenly over the weekend at his mum's house from a heart attack, friends have said.
Ed and Cherry laid flowers down at the candlelit vigil at Jamal's hometown of Acton, London.
The Sun reported that Ed has also personally reached out to offer support to Jamal's grieving mum, Brenda Edwards.
An onlooker said: "Ed and Cherry went to pay their respects on Tuesday night.
"He kept a low profile and no one bothered him. After all Jamal did at the start of his career it was important for him to be there.
"They stayed at the vigil for about 15 minutes before heading to see Brenda.
"He's told Brenda he will support her in whatever she needs.”
Brenda shared a statement after her son's death, saying: "It is with the deepest heartache that I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning after a sudden illness.
"Myself, his sister Tanish and the rest of his family and friends are completely devastated. He was the centre of our world.
"Jamal was an inspiration to myself and so many. Our love for him lives on, his legacy lives on. Long live Jamal Edwards MBE, MBA, PHD."
Jamal founded SBTV when he was just 15 years old and has helped the likes of Stormzy, Jessie J and Dave to reach new heights in their careers.
Chelsea fans paid an emotional tribute to Jamal at Tuesday's game.
Fans clapped for a minute on the 31st minute at Chelsea's Champions League at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea squad members paid tribute to Jamal.
Mason Mount wrote: "Always showed me so much love and support, proper Chels! You will be truly missed, RIP Jamal Edwards."
John Terry shared a photo of the pair of them together with the caption: "RIP my friend".
Jamal once tweeted: "We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will."
