Ecuador vs Senegal prediction and odds ahead of crucial 2022 FIFA World Cup Group A decider

Everything is at stake in this Group A tie as the winner will secure the second spot in the round of 16 as Ecuador face Senegal at the Khalifa International Stadium. On paper, this has all the ingredients of a brilliant end-to-end match which will certainly keep the defences busy with plenty at stake for both sides.

La Tri are the favourites at 29/20 with Betfred ahead of their Group A decider while Senegal are 11/5 and draw is 21/10. This will be Ecuador's first ever World Cup match against an African side while Senegal are winless in both encounters against South American opposition in the competition.

Ecuador need a result to secure qualification to the round of 16 but can still secure a place if they lose so long as Qatar achieve the unthinkable and beat the Netherlands. For Senegal, they need to win this but still have a chance if they draw and the hosts beat Oranje.
