PATNA: The East Central Railway (ECR) has claimed to have carried out ambitious projects like building of new rail bridges, new rail lines, gauge conversion, track doubling and advanced signalling work at different places in the state at an estimated cost of Rs 3,960 crore per year since 2014.
According to ECR chief public relations officer (CPRO) Birendra Kumar, three major rail bridges at Digha in Patna, Munger and Kosi at Nirmali are projects which have been made functional by the railways to cater to the needs of people of the state as well as provide faster rail connectivity through these rail bridges, he said.
