Eberechi Eze is happy at Crystal Palace amid reported transfer interest from Newcastle.
Reports this week suggested that Saudi Arabia-backed Newcastle would consider a whopping £45million bid for the former QPR winger, who made an impressive start to life at Selhurst Park last season before sustaining an Achilles injury.
However, regardless of any interest from St James's Park, Eze is content in south London, where the club still see him as a key part of their future under manager Patrick Vieira.
Eze's injury kept him out of the side for the start of this campaign and Vieira has eased the attacking midfielder back in since his recovery, with the former England Under-21 international starting just one Premier League game so far this season.
Meanwhile, Palace are looking into a new contract for Africa Cup of Nations-winning midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate.
The 32-year-old's current deal expires in the summer but talks are ongoing over an extension.
