Ebanie Bridges jokes UFC star Conor McGregor "manhandled" her during photo

Ebanie Bridges has joked with fans that she was "manhandled" by UFC legend Conor McGregor when the pair met and posed for photos in Dublin last weekend.

The bantamweight world champion, who is as famous for her antics outside of the ring as she is for her tenacious fighting style in it, met McGregor at Katie Taylor vs Chantelle Cameron on Saturday night, where the pair watched from the front row. Unfortunately, the result didn't go the Irishwoman's way, but it didn't stop McGregor from making time for fans and celebrities in attendance.

And Bridges has since shared a number of photos of the pair together at the bout, asking fans to "caption" on in particular that shows the pair talking. Her pictures with McGregor have since gone viral, with many jokingly asking if the Irishman's fiancee Dee Devlin would be happy with the shots.

"Cute pic," Bridges wrote on one photo, before asking fans to come up with a caption for the rest. One responded "He looks like he's manhandling you in every picture," to which Bridges jokingly commented back that she "felt like he was ngl [not going to lie], lol [laughing out loud]".

The boxer is currently recovering from a hand injury which could keep her out until the end of the year, around the same time as McGregor is expected to return to action. After over two years out of the octagon, the Irishman will return to USADA drug testing in the coming days before working towards a pay-per-view comeback against Michael Chandler in December.

McGregor has recently finished filming a new season of The Ultimate Fighter with Chandler in Las Vegas, in which the pair coached teams against one another. It will begin airing on Wednesday next week on ESPN in the United States, with McGregor telling Mirror Fighting last week that a date for the fight will be announced during an episode during the season.

"Year end, I'm back in that cage having competed," he said last week. "I'm gearing up ready to go. Michael Chandler, yeah. It will be announced during The Ultimate Fighter. So The Ultimate Fighter is airing now in a couple of days on ESPN, and by the time that show finishes we'll have a date and everything set for the fans."
