Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone announced on Wednesday that the cause of the Eaton fire is currently unknown and under active investigation. The US Forest Service arson investigators are working in collaboration with the Los Angeles Country Fire Department and the Los Angeles Country Sheriff’s Department to determine the origin of the fire.
