With the colder weather creeping in and the worsening cost of living crisis, many of us are trying to find cheaper ways to keep our homes warm.
A recent poll found almost one in four people plan to leave their heating off all winter as energy bills are set to rocket. Some 23% of Brits said they will not turn their heating on at all over the colder months, with the figure rising to 27% among parents with children under 18.
The grim figures come at a time when food, petrol and other essentials are also jumping up in price.
