A new report has revealed that the Greater Easterhouse area suffered a covid death rate that was 72% higher than the rate for Scotland as a whole.
The death rate in Easterhouse linked to the virus was also nearly three times higher than in Scotland’s other least deprived communities.
Over 9,000 households in the community also required assistance with essentials or accessing financial and welfare support, while over 3,000 households required help to access food and other essentials.
