Easter menus at Costa Coffee, McDonald's and more

Easter food and drink is starting to arrive at many coffee and food chains across the UK.

It’s at this time of year that we breathe a sigh of relief as the weather starts to takes a turn for the better and London supermarkets and food chains start boasting a profusion of sweet ingredients.

Last year Greggs included four new items in its Easter menu. This year, although we haven’t heard anything yet, we are expecting a return.

The bakery expanded its lineup to include two new coffees with a cinnamon flavour. There was also the reappearance of two seasonal sweet treats: an Easter bunny and a bunny biscuit.

With Easter just weeks away now, what is in store?

Costa

Costa Coffee has teamed up Nestlé to offer KitKat Mocha and KitKak hot chocolate, as well as Kitkat Frappe, featuring whipped cream and crunchy chocolate pieces. The drinks start at £4.10.

Subject to availability, the limited-edition Kitkak beverages will be available in retailers across the country until March 14. Each one comes with a complimentary KitKat Bunny, whether ordered for takeout or to have in-store, .

McDonald’s

McDonald's has confirmed that its Hot Cross Bun Pie (£1.99) will be available. The dessert’s description is as follows: “Crispy cinnamon pastry packed with a spiced fruit mix and butter-flavour crem filling”.

The menu will includes a Hot Cross Bun Latte (£2.69), which is sweetened with cinnamon cream, hot cross bun taste dusting and hot cross bun flavour syrup.

Starbucks

Starbucks recently released Iced Strawberry Matcha Tea Latte to bring much-needed springtime vibes to everyone.

A rich, creamy strawberry cold foam is poured on top of the traditional matcha tea, which has been combined with vanilla syrup and served over ice.
