EastEnders' Vinny's death 'sealed' in Christmas twist as viewers 'rumble' murder

EastEnders fans believe a sudden change in personality for Vinny Panesar could be a huge hint he's going to die in upcoming scenes.

Vinny made a startling revelation on the BBC soap on Wednesday, and as a result he was cruel to his mother Suki Panesar.

Appearing to team up with his villainous dad Nish Panesar, things are set to escalate as he even plots the shocking death of another character according to spoilers.

On Wednesday, Vinny was desperate to know if his dad did push mum Suki down the stairs or not after her hospital dash.

Nish had been arrested for the crime despite Suki claiming it wasn't his fault, and while speculation has continued that he's abusing his wife, his son Vinny was determined to help him.

Things came to a head though after Vinny accused Suki or Eve Unwin of being the person who spoke to the police about Nish, with the police revealing a tip-off suggested he had links to crime and should be investigated.

Vinny knew his mother was hiding something amid Nish's theory his wife is cheating on him with another man - unaware that Suki has been on and off with secret lover Eve.

Of course Vinny nor Nish knew that Suki is gay and in love with a woman, but Vinny did learn the truth in the latest episode.

In devastating scenes, Vinny threatened his mother knowing full well how scared she was of her husband, and knowing how dangerous Nish is.

It all started when Vinny was determined to find out whether Suki grassed up Nish and if she was working with Eve to bring his dad down.

He stole her phone and realised there were several calls from Eve but no messages, so he decided to send one of his own.

As Suki pleaded with her once-loving son to stop, knowing it could expose her romance, she tried to suggest another resident was the one behind the police tip-off.

Vinny had already messaged Eve though, and unaware that Vinny had the phone Eve messaged back saying: "I wanna keep you safe. I wanna make you happy. I just wanna be with you."

As Suki cried, realising the game was up, Vinny was stunned and began berating his mother for lying and cheating on his father, accusing her of tearing the family apart.

Vinny taunted Suki and refused to accept that she was gay and that she loved Eve, with it clear he was prepared to stand by Nish even if it put Suki in danger.

Calling her "disgusting", Vinny told her he "hated her" as Suki had shared her hopes of support from Vinny once he knew how trapped she was in her marriage, and how scared she was of Nish.

Vinny instead smirked at her and told her that once Nish was released by the police, he was going to tell her everything.

Seeing this harsh side to Vinny and seeing him becoming more like Nish, fans questioned whether he will end up going too far leading to his death this Christmas.

A flashforward clip in February revealed a mystery male character dies at The Queen Vic this Christmas, with six female suspects including Suki stood around the dead body.

Taking to Twitter, fans guessed the scenes tonight and his later actions could lead to him being the dead body on the floor.

One viewer said: "What if vinny is the dead body at Christmas?" as another tweeted: "the way things are heading I’ve a horrible feeling it will be Vinny."

A third fan tweeted: "Honestly after this episode, Vinny needs to be the dead body at Christmas."

Others believed Vinny would do a U-turn though, and that he might end up killing his own dad to protect Suki.

One fan said: "Please let Nish be the one on the floor at Christmas and let it be Vinny who ends him," as another commented: "Theory: Vinny kills Nish at Christmas."

EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
