EastEnders has hinted at Janine Butcher's downfall, with a major clue that is right under the noses of those around her.
Some crucial evidence that Janine has been up to no good is completely in plain sight at The Vic, where she has just moved in with her new partner Mick Carter.
A photo that is now on the wall features her in the background disposing of evidence, linked to the recent car accident that almost killed her love rival, Mick's ex, Linda Carter.
Her young son Ollie pointed Janine out in the snap in the latest episode, but Shirley and Frankie were distracted and didn't look closer.
Instead, the photo has been printed and placed on the wall alongside other snaps picked by Ollie.
All it will take is for someone, other than Janine or her daughter Scarlett, to notice the snap and the fact there's more than meets the eye.
In the particular photo, Frankie is smiling out on the square but Janine is shown in the background dumping some items in a bin, trying to remain out of sight.
The photo has captured her movements in the fallout to a vile crime that saw her leave an injured Linda to die in a car wreck, with her baby daughter Annie also in the car.
Viewers know that Janine was driving the car when the pair got into an accident, during a row over Mick.
Janine was injured but managed to get out, before she moved Linda into the driver seat and poured alcohol everywhere, so that it seemed she had crashed the car while drunk.
Janine is yet to be exposed, and no one knows she was there and involved - but now it seems the photo could lead to the truth coming to light.
It comes as fans are predicting a killer end for the soap legend, ahead of the exit of Mick.
With boss Chris Clenshaw recently confirming "climactic" scenes ahead for the couple, fans believe they've got it worked out.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "He’ll kill Janine when he finds out," as another said: "I think Mick should kill Janine for all the things she has done to his family. It would be the best exit storyline for him."
EastEnders boss Chris recently teased to The Mirror and other press: "Janine is in a relationship with Mick and we’re building to something very climactic between them."
He added: "Janine has got her everything in Mick and the Vic. But we all know how strong the bond is between Mick and Linda. And we know what Janine’s capable of. I won’t give away exactly how Ricky comes back, but it plays into the Janine story."
It comes as EastEnders confirmed the return of Janine's brother Ricky Butcher following recent reports, with Sid Owen reprising his role for a stint.
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
