EastEnders fans fear they know when Lola Pearce will die on the BBC soap, after believing a comment she made in the latest episode was a major hint.
The character was seen talking to a customer at the hair salon she works at, and something she said to them left viewers fearing she did not have long left to live.
Lola will tragically pass away in the coming weeks, after being diagnosed with a brain tumour last year.
Lola learned her condition was terminal, and has recently begun to deteriorate - and in the latest episode, fans saw the character struggling with tiredness.
It's been revealed in spoilers that the character's health will deteriorate, while her final scenes have also now been filmed - as well as the character's heartbreaking funeral.
In the latest episode, fans picked up on something Lola said and believed it "foreshadowed" the character's death.
Predicting the comment may be hinting at when exactly Lola will sadly pass away, fans took to Twitter with their devastating theories.
Lola was heard telling a customer she would see her in "seven weeks" for a second appointment, after she had her hair done.
But as she waved the customer off, fans believed this was a sign that Lola may die in seven weeks or sooner onscreen.
One viewer commented: "See you in seven weeks.. that’s foreshadowing to she won’t be here."
A second fan agreed, saying: "‘i’ll see you in seven weeks’," with a sad face emoji.
Another fan wrote: "When Lola said I’ll see you in 7 weeks to her client, it hit me I don’t think she’ll be here then," as a fourth added: "Lola saying “see you in 7 weeks” to a customer when she probably won’t be alive."
It comes after cast members were revealed to be filming Lola's funeral earlier this month, with the character's death already filmed.
Fresh from location snaps revealing one cast member had filmed their final scenes, new images from filming confirm that a character will die very soon.
Lola's death was confirmed by her coffin and flower arrangements which spell out her name.
Recently, Lola actress Danielle Harold took to social media to thank fans for their support as she filmed some of her final scenes on the show.
She and her co-star Jamie Borthwick, who plays Lola's husband Jay Brown, were snapped at the seaside.
Meanwhile in the funeral scenes, Lola's white coffin has messages written on it from various Albert Square residents, including Kat Slater, Bobby Beale and Karen Taylor.
Her white coffin has engraved hearts on the side, and is surrounded by pink and white flowers including one arrangement that spells out 'Lola'.
Taking to Instagram last month, actress Danielle spoke of the "difficult" but important storyline, as she thanked viewers.
Danielle said: "Lola’s story has been a very hard one to tell and one that means so much to me and sadly effects so many people.
"Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet historically only 1% of research is allocated to this devastating disease.
"I would like to take a moment for everybody that has reached out to me and shared their experiences with me , I have read every message And hold all of your messages close to my heart whilst playing this story.
"I have been blessed to meet the most incredible people and work with some wonderful charities along the way and I want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for all your support advise and love."
Lola first joined the soap in 2011, and after being written out in 2015 she returned again in 2019 with daughter Lexi.
