EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick has promised fans that Lola Pearce-Brown will get an incredible send-off during her funeral on the show.
Viewers were left heartbroken last week when Lola, played by Danielle Harold, passed away in what fans dubbed the saddest episode ever. Lola lost her battle with a terminal brain tumour as viewers saw the character's health deteriorate over the months.
Jay, who is played by Jamie, saw his character tie the knot with Lola earlier this year as he supported her every step of the way throughout her battle. Speaking at the British Soap Awards, Jamie insisted Lola's family would do her proud with her send-off.
