Actress Danielle Harold is on the run... After landing her first job after her final EastEnders scenes are set to air this week.
The star who has appeared on the BBC One soap since 2011 as Lola Pearce will see her character bow out of the soap after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Danielle's character has seen her condition rapidly deteriorated in recent weeks and recently returned to her home on Albert Square for her final few days to be surrounded by her loved ones.
But while Danielle's future appeared to be uncertain after leaving the UK's biggest soap opera – it's now been sealed.
It's believed that the 30-year-old star has joined the lineup for Celebrity Hunted which will see her attempt to go incognito across the country to keep her location confidential.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "After filming’s Lola’s storyline, Danielle is keen to do whatever she can to help raise money for the fight against cancer.
"She will throw herself into the show and hopefully stay hidden long enough to beat the Hunters."
The outlet claims that the EastEnders star will be joined by former Coronation Street star, Kimberly Hart-Simpson for the celebrity edition of the show.
Celebrities will be attempting to keep a low profile in order to ensure that they go unnoticed in a bid to win the show for charity.
Surveillance experts will use their expertise to track down celebrities and follow their every move to catch them.
This week, viewers will sadly see Lola wave goodbye to her life on Albert Square after losing her cancer battle.
Speaking about the final scenes, the actress revealed all about the "difficult" scenes and confessed the "heartbreaking" storyline has been "tough" to film.
She said: "It's been really difficult filming these last few scenes over because it does get really tough, especially towards the end.
"It's such a heartbreaking diagnosis and it’s not nice to watch or to play, so working with the charities has been so important for us because we want to portray Lola’s diagnosis both accurately and sensitively while also raising awareness to hopefully make a change."
On Lola's condition next week, Danielle explained that Lola is aware that she has just days to live as she says goodbye to her loved ones.
She said: "Yes, Lola definitely starts to feel her decline quite quickly during her palliative care.
"Her symptoms are getting worse, she's becoming more forgetful and she's having more seizures so she’s definitely aware her time is coming to an end now."
The Mirror approached Danielle's representatives for comment.
