A former EastEnders star has died at the age of 38.
Ashvin Luximon died after suffering an aneurysm on July 23, according to his family. They have paid tribute to their 'loving son, brother and friend' and said his death 'hit them...hard', reports the Mirror.
He was best known for playing Asif Mailk in the BBC soap from 1999 until 2003 and appeared in 146 episodes, but also appeared in Grange Hill and Hope and Glory and starred in promotional videos for British Airways.
