EastEnders Stacey Slater is set for more turmoil as an older man takes an interest in her pre-teen daughter.
Fans of the BBC soap will know that this year hasn't been easy for the Slater clan, as 12-year-old Lily is pregnant and Stacey has resorted to sex work online due to the cost of living crisis.
In another shock twist, Stacey will be left panicked for her daughter as Freddie Slater's former teacher Theo Hawthorne shows an interest in Lily.
Stacey will clash with pre-teen Lily later this month when she can't afford to buy her daughter a new pair of trainers, while she also ends up in Freddie's bad books after some insensitive comments. As the situation worsens, Theo attempts to mediate and speaks to Freddie.
Meanwhile, Lily is soon left delighted when Theo gifts her the trainers she originally wanted. The teacher claims that this is because his friend owns a sports shop, but doesn't have everyone convinced.
Stacey tells Theo that Lily isn't allowed the trainers as it's unfair on her other children, but he decides to give the shoes to the school girl regardless.
When Lily shows off her trainers to her pals, Amy is left concerned for the pregnant teen. Amy then tells Lily to be careful in case the older man has ulterior motives with his gifts.
Amy's warning soon unsettles Lily as she goes on to ask Theo directly about what his intentions with her are, but he swiftly puts her worries at ease. While Lily is reassured, Amy isn't as relieved and soon tells Stacey about the older man who bought Lily her new trainers.
Stacey is furious and confronts Lily who gives an innocent explanation, but the stressed-out mum soon catches up with Theo and grills him.
