EastEnders' Gray Atkins could finally be exposed next week as new BBC spoilers reveal that Whitney reports him to the police.
After discovering that Gray murdered his wife Chantelle, Whitney (Shona McGarty) has been biding her time to expose the cold-blooded killer.
But Whitney decides to bite the bullet next week and the move could be the beginning of the end for Gray.
The drama begins on Monday, February 7, when Whitney overhears Chelsea’s frustrations that Gray hasn't answered her calls while the two are in the cafe.
The situation grows heated when Denise quizzes her daughter on taking her medication, prompting Chelsea to rip up her prescription.
In later scenes, Chelsea is preparing for a big day at the hospital, as she is finally going to be able to hold newborn baby Jordan for the first time.
Chelsea is elated, but Gray on the other hand is too distracted by the chaos at the Argee Bhajee after the gas explosion and is a no-show at the hospital.
Albert Square is set to be thrown into turmoil, as the fallout from the Argee Bhajee explosion on EastEnders leaves Gray panicked his murderous secret could be revealed.
He sees the restaurant cordoned off with police tape and the threat of murdered Tina’s body being discovered looms.
But when Chelsea later shows Gray snaps of the big milestone, he fumes.
Gray turns vindictive and nasty as he accuses Chelsea of showing off and cruelly berates her, with lies he missed the event because he had to work.
Chelsea is distraught in the aftermath of her latest confrontation with abusive Gray and Whitney easily spots her shaken up state.
It prompts Whitney to make the momentous decision and she heads to the police station - where she tells officers that Gray killed Chantelle.
In scenes airing later in the week, Detective Chief Inspector Arthur tells Whitney that they want to help Chelsea if she's in such a perilously dangerous position, leaving Whitney optimistic.
The pressure then builds for Gray when DCI Arthurs approaches him, as he begins to fear that his crimes are will be exposed.
As the police make contact with Gray, he realises the net is closing in and packs a bag with the family's passports.
Will the police finally catch up with Gray? Or will he manage to get away in time?
