Mitch Baker will lash out next week as he fears he didn't do enough for daughter Chantelle in order to save her from abusive husband Gray on EastEnders.
Viewers will recall Chantelle's final heartbreaking chat with Mitch in 2020 when he noticed that something was wrong, but couldn't figure out what that was.
Following Chantelle's death - which was ruled an accident after she fell back onto an open dishwasher cutlery tray, despite Gray pushing her - Mitch believed that Gray was to blame.
However, Karen managed to convince him otherwise and dropped his initial suspicions.
But this week, Gray's true killer self will be exposed, leaving the Taylors utterly devastated as they realise that they've been friendly with their daughter's killer for over a year and a half after their death.
Next week, Keegan is desperate to help his family in the wake of the revelations as he reminds his parents that it's Mack's birthday on Tuesday and that they should celebrate.
But the next day, Mitch feels that they should tell Mack and Mia the truth about their father.
However, Karen finds it incredibly difficult when they try to explain the truth to their grandchildren and she rushes out of the room.
Even Mitch struggles, prompting Keegan to step in and help, while Mitch begins to realise that he didn't do enough to save his daughter.
As Mitch struggles with the revelation, he lashes out at Karen and blames her for not noticing the signs with Gray.
Karen is deeply hurt by the accusations and throws him out of the house.
Later that week, things remain tense at the Taylor's as Mitch tries to find somewhere else to stay.
Bailey tries to intervene as she pleads with Keegan to help, though she has no idea that he is struggling just as much.
Despite Vinny and Kat trying to rally round Keegan as he shares his frustrations - that Kheerat picked up on Chantelle's abuse but he didn't, their words are not enough to stem the pain.
Keegan storms off and becomes involded in a huge argument with mum Karen about everything that's happened.
As her row with Keegan plays on her mind, Karen is interrupted by Vinny, who has some worrying news...
