EastEnders actress Samantha Womack has revealed she has breast cancer.
The actress shared the news of her battle with the disease as she posted a tribute to Olivia Newton-John who died on Monday. The Grease star had fought breast cancer for three decades.
Posting on Twitter, Samantha said she was "starting [her] own battle with this disease" and felt she had to come forward as she felt "deeply moved." Uploading a throwback photo of herself with Oliva, Samantha reminisced about the time she came to visit her at the stage show when she played Sandy.

Sharing the photo on Twitter, she said: "This was the most magical of evenings. Olivia and Chloe had come to see Grease in London and we had dinner together afterwards. I was so excited and in awe, she was my childhood. I now start my own battle with this disease and am left feeling deeply moved."
Fans rallied around the actress as they labelled her brave for the move and wished her the best on her road to recovery. One fan said: "Lots of love to you", while another added: "gosh sending you all our best wishes and lots of love".
Another added: "Wishing you love and strength."
Grease icon Olivia died aged 73 on Monday morning at her ranch in Southern California, surrounded by her loved ones. Her cause of death has yet to be announced.
