EastEnders reveals Jean Slater return - and she's joined by another familiar face

EastEnders is lining up two returns to the soap next week, as two members of the Slater family surprise Stacey Slater.

Jean makes her return to screens after leaving Walford earlier in the year, after suffering with her mental health.

After a crisis following a relapse with her bipolar disorder, Jean admitted herself into hospital as she came to terms with the fact she was unwell.

Following her hospital stay, Jean decided to take some time away from Walford and told daughter Stacey she would be staying with friends.

But Stacey gets a shock next week when she heads to the caravan park for a holiday with the kids, ex Martin Fowler and new lover Kheerat Panesar.
