EastEnders fans may see another familiar face back in Walford soon, if Patrick Trueman has his way.
Spoilers for next week on the BBC soap see the character drop a big confession, paving the way for a former character's return.
In fact, Patrick sets off to find the character and bring them back to Walford while it hasn't been confirmed that the character is coming back.
It all kicks off when Patrick makes a toast to celebrate his ex-wife Yolande's birthday as she turns 70.
Patrick and Yolande were together between 2003 and 2008 on the show, before she left as their marriage hit the rocks.
While Patrick had planned to join her away from Albert Square he never did, and in 2009 he received their divorce papers.
She did make a surprise return in 2017, now working at the Minute Mart HQ, as she attempted to help Denise Fox with a matter.
While in Walford, she did have a brief reunion with her husband as they shared a catch-up and a dance for his birthday, before she left again.
Now, it seems she could be back again if Patrick has his way as he is keen to make things right between them.
It seems he realises that she is the love of his life and he's desperate to win her back after becoming reflective on her birthday.
It all kicks off when in honour of Yolande’s 70th birthday, Patrick puts a bet on a horse called ‘Little Prayer’ as it was the song that was played at their wedding.
The horse comes in and Patrick treats the family to a celebration meal at Walford East.
He takes the moment as a sign too, and warns young Denzel never to take love for granted.
It's then that Patrick drops a bombshell on his loved ones, and he announces that he’s going to see Yolande and intends to win her back.
But will he be successful and does this mean Yolande is returning to the soap for good?
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
