A portrait of Diana that hung proudly in the Queen Vic appears to have mysteriously vanished ahead of Prince Charles and Camilla's visit to EastEnders.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are set to appear on the BBC soap next week ahead of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Charles and Camilla will join the Albert Square residents for a very special street party.
Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) has been busy getting the Queen Vic ready for the royal couple, but eagle-eyed fans have noticed that a portrait of Diana is now missing.
The move has left viewers perplexed, considering how the Carters are supposed to be ardent fans of Diana (considering their dog is called Lady Di).
During Tuesday's episode, the picture of Diana could be seen in the background as Sonia and Kathy spoke in the Queen Vic.
However, in a later scene, the portrait appeared to have been removed and Mick was later seen holding a picture of the Queen.
Mick pointed to an empty spot on the wall, where Diana's picture had previously been, and said that he was going to put the portrait there.
One tweeted: "The artwork of Diana has seemingly been taken down #EastEnders."
While another commented: "Very convenient replacing Princess Diana’s portrait with The Queen’s in time of Charles and [Camilla]’s visit. #Eastenders."
A third wrote: "Since the Carters moved inside the Vic there was a picture from Princess Diana at the Wall.
"Next week Charles and Camilla visit the show and the picture is changed to a picture from the Queen. Brilliant. :D #EastEnders."
"Not them taking the Diana portrait down just in time for Charles and Camilla to come ahshahah #Eastenders," another wrote.
