EastEnders' Phil Mitchell is on the warpath in upcoming scenes, as he realises he's been betrayed.
Amid his huge plan for nemesis DCI Keeble, things backfire and he soon learns he has been double-crossed in scenes to kick off the new year.
Few details are revealed in the spoilers about what has happened and who has gone against him, but it could really be anyone given his recent grievances.
After appearing to betray his own cousin Billy Mitchell, never mind his dangerous feud with Keeble, Phil is set to clash with other residents in upcoming episodes.
What is known is that his good mood in the start to 2023 is short lived, leaving Phil delivering a serious threat to someone.
He seems to get the upper hand as his mystery plan works, leaving others seething, but more news threatens the peace.
Phil is raging when he realises he has been double-crossed and soon he takes matters into his own hands - but who should watch their backs, and what exactly does he have up his sleeve?
It comes after Phil was confirmed to be embroiled in a major new twist last week, following the return of Keanu Taylor.
Keanu made his surprise return to the BBC soap this month, after fleeing in 2020 after the boat crash.
He had actually left over Christmas 2019, after Phil, Ben and Louise Mitchell all plotted to have him killed - with Martin Fowler blackmailed into murdering him.
Keanu had been cheating on pregnant Louise with Phil's wife Sharon, with Sharon also falling pregnant.
Martin actually faked Keanu's death and let him go on the run, only for Karen's son to return a few months later to get his revenge.
His final showdown with Phil and Ben caused the boat crash that killed Sharon's son Dennis - so Keanu ran off again.
He made his return this month and it appeared he had teamed up with DCI Keeble to bring down Phil for once and for all.
Keeble has her own grievances with Phil and the Mitchells, and has been meeting up with Keanu to try and trap Phil.
But in a recent episode it was confirmed to be a double bluff, as Phil confirmed he and Keanu had actually teamed up despite their past, to bring down Keeble together.
Phil declared Keeble had no idea what was headed her way, and what the pair of them had planned for her.
Viewers were shocked by the twist, with many confessing they were not expecting it.
