EastEnders ' Jack Derges has announced his fiancée has given birth to their second child.
The former soap star, 34, took to Instagram to share the exciting news that his partner Yasmin Alamiri has given birth to a gorgeous baby boy named Raffi Jack.
Jack and dance teacher Yasmin - who got engaged in 2019 - are already parents to one-year-old son Freddie Gray.
“Raffi Jack Derges • Freddie Gray has a little brother. Mother and baby are happy and healthy. Yasmin is a total star. My heart is just full of love for my beautiful family,” he wrote alongside a cute snap of the sleeping newborn.
The post was flooded with comments from his friends and followers, as his former EastEnders co-star Nitin Ganatra, who played Masood Ahmed, wrote: “Oh! MY. What a beauty. Congratulations Jack!”
“Welcome to the world Raffi! He’s gorgeous! Congratulations xxx,” one added.
“Oh Jack WOW!!!! Many many congratulations and what a beautiful little baby Raffi is... !!! xxx gorgeous x,” another commented.
The actor made his debut as bad boy builder Andy Flynn in March 2016, as he arrived in Albert Square with a hidden agenda.
He was in Walford to avenge the death of his adoptive sister Danielle, who was also the daughter of former Queen Vic landlady Ronnie Mitchell.
The teenager died in 2009 when she was run over by Janine Butcher, shortly after being reunited with her estranged mother.
Andy was written out of the soap in August 2016, and viewers last saw him make amends with Ronnie before leaving for good.
He thanked Dominic Treadwell-Collins, who produced the soap during his stint on the show, for giving him the opportunity.
“Quality six months on #EastEnders. The most welcoming cast I've ever worked with. Dream job! Thanks @dominictc for getting me involved! X,” he tweeted.
He went on to star in West End show The Boys In The Band, playing a gay hustler called Cowboy, and also had a guest role in BBC One hospital drama Casualty.
Jack then landed the role of Enzo D'Agostino in the hit daytime BBC One medical soap Doctors, starring in seven episodes before making his departure.
He’s since starred in the Netflix show Get Even as Coach Creed.
