EastEnders fans are convinced they've 'worked out' who dies this Christmas - after a telling comment on tonight's episode.
Fans have been awash with ideas on who the mystery man who dies this Christmas is. We know a man dies on Sharon's wedding day, with the matriarchs of Walford - Denise (Diane Parish), Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Linda (Kellie Bright), Sharon (Letitia Dean), Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Suki (Balvinder Sopal) - all standing around the body.
During tonight's episode, Keanu and Sharon chatted about the progress they were making with their wedding.
As they discussed their upcoming wedding, which we assume will take place on Christmas Day as Sharon is seen in a wedding dress in the flashforward scenes, Sharon was quick to share her excitement about their big day.
"The money's been transferred into your account, you'll do the honours yeah?" Sharon told him excitedly as Keanu joked about them having a wedding planner - and how much it would cost for them to enlist the help of someone.
Of their big day, Sharon then added: "It'll be worth every penny, seeing you and Albie in a bow tie. Life doesn't get any better than this," before Keanu gave her a kiss on the neck and replied: "I know, just the three of us."
Fans are now convinced his comment could mean that Keanu will be the one who dies this Christmas, as they had planned to marry on October 14th - but it looks like things could change as Sharon is seen in a wedding dress this festive season.
"Sharon and Keanu wedding is booked for October 14th yet on Christmas Day Sharon is in a wedding dress. So that tells me it doesn’t go to plan on October 14th. #EastEnders," one wrote, as a second added: "Errrmmmm am I missing something….Sharon is getting married in October???? What’s with the wedding dress at Christmas then in The Six?? #EastEnders."
A third shared: "An October wedding for Sharon and Keanu isn't happening then, lol #EastEnders."
EastEnders boss Chris Clenshaw has teased what's to come for the pair.
"Just as quickly as Sharon and Keanu reunited, she discovered that he and Sam have history too, leaving Sharon newly single. However, as we know, Sharon’s wearing a wedding dress at Christmas, so watch out for many twists, turns, and plenty of heartbreak along the way," he said back in February of what to expect from Sharon's story.
Letitia Dean - who plays Sharon - admitted she had no clue who it is.
She said: "I think we were all really excited about the storyline and to be a part of it. Chris asked us all for a meeting and he explained his vision which we were all really intrigued by …. Oh I wish I had an idea, but at the minute I think it’s so open - and I have been through a few of these storylines before and I rarely get them right - so I’m sure over the next year I’ll change my mind a thousand times, but it would purely be guesswork at this point!"
