EastEnders viewers reckon that they've "worked out" how Lola Pearce will die after spotting a key clue.
Fans were left devastated earlier this month after it was reported that actress Danielle Harold was being axed from the BBC soap and that her character would be unable to return.
Soap bosses are said to be planning a huge story around her departure, but Danielle is said to be "in pieces" over her exit as she "was not expecting the chop".
But fans are already theorising how she could meet a grisly end.
Most recently, Lola was left heartbroken after discovering that boyfriend Isaac had cheated on her after meeting another woman abroad.
She has recently been seen on a dating app and fans have predicted that she could meet her killer on there.
One tweeted: "I have a feeling that mechanic will be part of Lolas exit. They're showing a lot of lola doing an online dating profile. We've seen the mechanic is overfriendly , seems mysogonistic and mentions he likes petite blondes. I'm almost certain lola will be killed by him #EastEnders.
"Jay brought him to the square to do a shift in the arches. He will feel awfully guilty and will blame himself. Given his history with lola this will be significant #eastenders."
While another asked: "This mechanic dude gonna kill Lola? #Eastenders."
A third wrote: "So Lola and the new mechanic look like they are going to get together as he just happens to mention he likes petite blondes. #EastEnders."
However, others have speculated that Ben could kill Lola by accident as she tries to take Lola away from him.
One tweeted: "I want to know who has beef with Lola so much to the point they want to kill her? # EastEnders I have a feeling that might make Ben attack Lola and he kills her by accident."
Another agreed, commenting: "He could. Ben is going through the stages of shock, denial, and will eventually get to the anger part on top of his already loose anger issue. An argument like with Heather could happen again. I just don't think Lola should be killed off."
Fans will recall Ben famously accidentally killed Heather Trott after whacking her over the head with a photo frame.
