EastEnders viewers are speculating over what could be inside a mystery jewellery box, which belongs to missing character Rose Knight.
Rose's identity and what happened to her will be revealed later this month, amid theories she could actually be Cindy Beale.
George Knight and his daughters Anna and Gina moved into The Queen Vic recently, alongside George's new partner Elaine.
But something Anna was hiding from George which is linked to her and Gina's mother left viewers believing a twist could be on the way.
According to George, his wife Rose walked out on him and the family around nine years before their Walford debut, and they have not seen her or heard from her since.
Amid fears George may have killed his wife, it seems the daughters are torn over their mother and speaking about her.
Gina was evidently uneasy when Linda Carter asked the girls about Rose, and she was also mortified to find out Anna had taken something that belonged to her.
In a recent scene, Anna and Gina were shown rowing over a jewellery box that belonged to their mum, with them not meant to have it.
Anna said she needed something to remember her mother by, while it was clear they were keeping the possession discreet.
Viewers have been speculating whether there was some importance regarding the box, and what might be inside of it before they finally find out what happened to Rose.
Some even linked the box to the looming Christmas Day death, believing the contents could be something we saw in the recent flashforward clip.
In the clip, six female characters including Linda were stood around a mystery dead man in The Vic.
Something noticeable about the male was that he was dressed in a suit and was wearing distinctive cufflinks.
Taking to Twitter, some fans asked if the cufflinks, which have yet to make an appearance, could be inside the box.
One viewer said: "Do you think the cuff links are in [there], when you mentioned the jewellery box."
Another fan agreed with this theory, writing: "ohhh good thinking! Yeah those bling cuff links," as a third fan asked: "Cufflinks??" in regards to what could be inside of the box.
