EastEnders viewers have been left wanting more after actress Michelle Collins made a surprising return to EastEnders in the role of Cindy Beale - almost 25 years after she was said to have died in prison whilst giving birth.
Wednesday’s episode of EastEnders ended with a shot of Cindy on a sun lounger, drinking a glass of wine as the ‘duff duff’ sound signalled the credits. Also making a return to the BBC soap opera is Cindy’s former husband Ian Beale , who is played by Adam Woodyatt.
Fans were left reeling after the huge scenes. And while many are just pleased to see her back, some viewers are now convinced they know why Cindy is back, the Mirror reports – and what her plans are when she makes her return to Walford.
