EastEnders viewers believe they spotted a chilling clue about Lola Pearce's possible death in scenes this week.
Actress Danielle Harold was revealed to be leaving the role in June, with reports she was axed alongside other stars.
Following the news, it was also reported Lola was being killed off in tragic scenes, with the character apparently set to die from a brain tumour.
There is no confirmation from the show that this will happen, or that Lola will die.
That said, viewers were left worried the storyline had begun on Thursday night after a comment made by Lola in scenes with daughter Lexi, as well as Ben Mitchell and Callum Highway.
In the scene, she mentioned that Lexi was causing trouble and had "already given her a headache" - while she was later shown with her hand on her head.
Of course she could have been saying it as though her little one was causing her havoc, rather than her actually having a headache.
But viewers were worried it was a sign of the looming storyline, and took to Twitter to share their observations.
One viewer wrote: "Lola saying she has a headache this story is gonna be devastating, I really hope they don’t rush it."
Another tweeted: "Lola has a headache… the beginning of a sad story."
A third viewer said: "When lola said she had a headache in that episode my heart dropped."
This was echoed by another fan who commented: "Lola starting to get headaches ….damn it i’m not ready for her to be killed off."
While it has been confirmed actress Danielle will depart the role for the second time, no news on when or how have been disclosed.
The Sun revealed of the reported storyline back in June that bosses wanted the story to mirror the real-life death of The Wanted's Tom Parker, who passed away in March from brain cancer.
It's said Lola will receive a terminal diagnosis, and that her on/off lover Jay Brown will nurse her until the very end.
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
