EastEnders viewers have worked out the meaning behind Cindy Beale's mystery locket, which has made its way back to Walford - and could expose her lies.
Anna Knight revealed a silver locket that she had found in her mother's jewellery box, and on the pendant there was a date engraved on it.
Fans of course know that Anna is the daughter of Cindy, but she doesn't realise this believing her mother to be Rose Knight.
Rose was the fake identity of Cindy which she posed as following her fake death in the 90s, with it now known she went into witness protection.
During this time, Cindy became Rose and got with George Knight - starting a life with him and having two daughters, Anna and Gina.
Anna's mother walked out on the family randomly one day nine years ago - and viewers are convinced this was down to some shocking news back in Walford.
She kept her mother's box and some of her items, and on Thursday night fans saw the sisters looking through it.
Anna picked up the locket which was engraved and admitted she loved it, but never found out what the date on it meant.
Viewers were quick to work out what was so significant about the date on the locket, and why Cindy kept it.
With the Knights and Walford yet to discover Rose's true identity and the fact Cindy is back from the dead, there may have been a clue on Thursday as to what leads to the truth coming out.
The date on the locket is December 9 1993, and this is a special date for Cindy and the Beales as it was when she and Ian welcomed their twins Peter and Lucy.
So while Anna has no idea what the date is in reference to, there are plenty of residents who do know - so could one of them find the necklace and put two and two together?
Cindy is now in hiding in France with her ex husband Ian Beale who knows she is alive, as does Peter and his ex Lauren Branning.
So does the locket hold all of the answers for the Knights and others, and will this be what leads to Cindy's return - given Anna is close with Ian's son Bobby?
Taking to Twitter viewers discussed the significance of the chain, as others worked out the dates.
One viewer said: "So the date on the necklace takes me back to the month when my sister was born and oh yeah The birth of the Beale Twins i reckon! I love this scriptwriting right now! Question is, how close will Bobby get to the truth before anyone else?"
Another tweeted: "09.12.93 Cindy gave birth to Lucy and Peter," as a third fan wrote: "9th December 1993 Lucy and peters birthday."
A fourth added: "Theory: Sometime soon anna is going to show bobby the jewellery box. He’ll read the date on the neckless and there’ll be a throwaway comment of 'hey that’s my brothers birthday'."
