BBC soap Eastenders saw the return of another old favourite - and while the comeback divided viewers, fans hailed a 'perfect' performance. Phil Mitchell's old flame Lisa left Walford back in 2020 with daughter Louise and granddaughter Peggy for a new life in Portugal.
However in Monday night's episode (July 10), Lisa - played by Lucy Benjamin - was back in Albert Square and appeared to be strapped for cash. As Peggy and Lisa got out of their cab outside of the Queen Vic, she ran away from the taxi driver to avoid paying.
She told old friend Sonia: "There's just something i need to do, then me and Peggy are going back to Portugal. It's about time that Keanu paid for what he did to my family." Viewers will remember that Keanu is the father of Lisa's granddaughter Peggy and daughter Louise's ex.

Many viewers on Twitter were pleased to see her back but others were concerned for the wedding plans of fan favourite couple Sharon and Keanu.. @paul_y94 said: "Lisa is a brilliant character, always good to have her back on the square." @JohnnySeifert said: "Lucy Benjamin played Lisa Shaw perfectly tonight. Confident and then as soon Phil is around, Lisa is vulnerable and shaky. The same as she was in 2002."
@ZeeHerMe said: "Ok I had to catch up. Lisa back? The new team said throw EVERYTHING at the square & I kinda love it!" And yasminA wrote: "Happy to see, welcome back Lisa."
Others were less impressed with the character's return, with @EESprite saying: "Let the whining commence". And @Shamrock_1982 wrote: "Just when you were doing so well bringing back Ian and Cindy and then you bring back her of all characters!!"
Meanwhile @blmaden said: "Lisa Fowler back in #Eastenders. Never been a fan of her at all. Hope it’s just a flying visit and off she goes." And QuidProHo added: "Oh pi** off Lisa."
