EastEnders' new co-owner of The Vic has to deal with the fallout of the break-in with her daughter Linda.
There is a break-in at the Queen Vic next week, leaving Linda Carter (played by Kellie Bright) very upset by the ordeal while Elaine Peacock (played by Harriet Thorpe) seemed unfazed despite the destroyed picture of Mick Carter.
Elaine has been extremely popular with the men of Walford as she easily charms them with free drinks. However, her daughter Linda isn't too happy with her mum's tactics and gets annoyed with the changes in The Vic.
Elaine believes the Panesars are to blame for the break-in of the pub and sets her sights on taking them down after a conversation with Eve about Nish's untrustworthy character.
Eve later tries to convince Elaine to stop plotting against the Panesars by saying that Linda didn't need the extra stress. Elaine and her daughter finally have a candid conversation about losing Mick and they both agree to support each other.
Later, Elaine makes a phone call to a mysterious man and reveals her hopes that he will move into The Vic.
Before Elaine was confirmed as the new co-owner, Sharon Watts and Nish Panesar were hoping they had a chance. They were left stunned and furious to learn that both of their offers were rejected after weeks of being misled.
The truth of Elaine showing up leaves Sharon disgusted with her so-called best friend, and sparks a huge row between the two ladies.
Sharon had her heart set on a return to her former home and wanted to work with Linda, so the betrayal leads to her storming off. Linda realises her decision has left their friendship in tatters, but can they come back from it?
Then there is villain Nish, who doesn't take too kindly to his offer being rejected and being lied to about his chances.
Soon enough, Elaine and Linda are horrified to find someone has trashed the pub and it's pretty obvious who is behind it.
