EastEnders dropped some new clues about the upcoming Christmas Day drama, following a shocking flashforward last month.
A clip from Christmas Day 2023 saw six female suspects stood around a dead male character, while their identity was not revealed.
There were a series of clues and mystery plot twists in the clip, including Sharon Watts wearing a wedding dress despite the fact she is currently single and not engaged.
The Queen Vic was decorated for a wedding and despite Kat Slater and Phil Mitchell planning to marry on this day currently, it was Sharon shown wearing the dress.
But a possible new clue as to what happens was shown on Thursday night, as another bride-to-be was seen purchasing the very dress.
In the first new clues since the clip aired last month, Alfie Moon was trying to help Stacey Slater flog some wedding dresses she was recently sent to sell on, amid the family's money woes.
Alfie asked Sharon to help him sell them, but she ended up taking a look herself as one dress in particular caught her eye.
As she placed it against herself and looked in the mirror, it was the exact same dress she will be wearing in the Christmas Day episode.
Sharon commented on how much she liked the dress, before saying: "A girl can dream," and leaving the shop.
Another comment about Sharon possibly getting married was when Alfie asked if she was in the market for a wedding gown, with her replying: "Do you know something I don't?"
This definitely sounded like a nod to the fact viewers now know something that the characters currently do not, and the fact Sharon could well end up getting married.
But a twist saw the very dress from the clip sold to another character in Walford, and not Sharon.
Kathy Beale was seen picking it up and Linda Carter encouraged her to buy it.
Linda and Kathy, as well as Stacey, are all in the flashforward with Sharon - yet it seems currently the dress belongs to Kathy.
She was seen purchasing it before deciding to take it home - so how does it end up with Sharon?
Other hints in the episode that could be linked to the big episode in December were Alfie repeatedly referring to Linda as a weapon, given Linda is a suspect.
Then there was Alfie being called Stacey's knight in shining armour, which will no doubt get viewers talking given that in the flashforward scene, Stacey had an actual knight in shining armour figure behind her.
So could this be a clue to who is dead on the floor, or even who has killed them?
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
