Ben Mitchell will confront his rapist next week after confiding in mum Kathy about what really happened that horrifying night.
Tonight on EastEnders, tensions boil over for the pair as Kathy pins the blame on Ben for what happened with Callum.
But things become too much for Ben and Kathy finally realises what happened to her son and why he has been acting strangely. She is left reeling but tries her best to support Ben and the pair have a heart-to-heart.
Next week, Ben appears to have doubts about reporting Lewis as his mum continues to fuss over him.
Ben spots Lewis and Callum appearing to have a close conversation, leaving him deeply worried.
Jay notices Ben's darkening mood and the mechanic, having had enough of being blamed, tells Jay that he was raped by Lewis.
As the pair talk about what happened, Jay accidentally puts doubts in his mind about going to the police and Ben changes his mind when he goes to the station, believing that the cops won't believe him.
Ben texts Lewis telling him to meet him, however the barman is left seething after Kathy fires him from his job after what he did to Ben.
Meanwhile, Ben waits at The Arches with a crowbar in hand but Lewis is a no show. He storms over to The Albert and demands Kathy tell him where Lewis lives, but she refuses to tell him.
Jay spots the commotion as Ben struggles to keep his rage in check and accuses Kathy of trying to protect Lewis.
Elsewhere, Lewis is fuming that Kathy has sacked him and retaliates by telling Peter that Ben was the one who attacked him...
Kathy is shocked later that week when a drunk Peter turns up and tells her that he knows Ben was the one who attacked him.
Keen for her to prove her loyalty to him, Peter asks her to report Ben to the police...
