EastEnders aired devastating scenes on Wednesday night, as evil Janine Butcher got her way.
Her vile revenge plan against Linda Carter seemed to prove successful this week, when she got her daughter Annie taken away by a social worker.
She blackmailed Jada Lennox into helping her for money, getting her to plant bottles of alcohol around recovering alcoholic Linda's home - and then calling social services.
After an incident left Annie with a bruise, Linda was devastated when Annie was taken from her and placed into care while they investigated.
Jada confessed all to Sharon Watts, the grandmother of her young daughter Alyssa, who urged her to go to the police.
The teen then denied Janine had any involvement, covering up her cruel plan and taking the blame before heading to the police station.
When Linda found out she was furious, having suspected Janine only to be told it was not her behind it, and she wanted Jada to own up.
But as Jada headed to the station, she was confronted by evil Janine who taunted her about what would happen if she told the police the truth.
Jada was horrified as Janine then threatened to drop her in it herself and set her up, if she didn't turn around and walk away.
Janine coldly watched her walk away, knowing her actions would likely remain hidden - while Jada decided to run away from Walford.
Zack caught her at the bus station with Alyssa and her bags packed, and he begged her to stay.
But Jada decided she couldn't fix what she had done, and with Janine on her case she stuck with her plans to flee.
She and Alyssa boarded a bus and headed out of Walford, leaving Zack and Sharon devastated.
Linda was in pieces as she believed Jada was the only person who could get Annie back, and with her gone no one could prove she was set up.
But will Janine be caught out, and will Jada still find a way to help Linda?
