Emmerdale could be getting a new cast member as reports claim EastEnders star Toby-Alexander Smith could be set to join his girlfriend Amy Walsh on the rival ITV soap with a whooping cash deal.
The actor recently made a grand exit from the BBC soap after playing serial killer Gray Atkins.
In the dramatic scene, his character was finally caught and arrested for his crimes.

The 31-year-old played the serial killer for three years despite only signing up for an initial six-month stint as domestic abuser Gray.
During his time playing serial killer Gray, his plotlines involved murdering his wife Chantelle in shocking scenes that saw him push her onto an upturned knife in a dishwasher in 2020.
And he didn’t stop there as Gray then went on to murder Tina Carter and Kush Kazemi, becoming Walford’s latest serial killer.
But now he’s left the BBC show he could now be joining his girlfriend Amy Walsh, who plays Tracy Metcalfe on ITV’s hit soap Emmerdale instead, the Mirror reports.
Soap fans could be about to see the pair join forces and work together on the show for an estimated annual contract worth more than £500,000.
According to Embryo, the former EastEnders actor could earn up to £2,000 per episode he stars in as statistics from ITV reveal that actors get paid between £400 and £2,000 per episode.
So if he stars in the show five times a week he could earn up to £40,000 a month. Which would add up to a whopping £520,000 across a 12-month contract.
Jo Threlfall, Head of Digital PR at Embryo told the Daily Star: “Toby Alexander-Smith's career has grown massively since his debut on Eastenders and since his dramatic departure from the soap, it has opened a window for the actor to be able to explore other options in his acting career.
“Whether that's theatre or casting for Netflix and films Toby isn't short for opportunities.
“Rumours have revealed that the soap star could appear alongside his partner Amy if so, he could potentially earn over £500,000 a year!”
Jo added: “On the other hand if he looking to explore influencing or reality TV shows like I'm A Celeb, he could earn over £1,000 per social post or up to £100K for a jungle appearance.”
This comes as the actor recently appeared to rule out a return for Gray to EastEnders in the future, despite not having been killed off.
