EastEnders actor Jake Wood was interrogated by the Loose Women panel - Judi Love, Charlene White, Nadia Sawalha and Jane Moore - on Thursday, March 23, after he appeared on the show to discuss his new role in the play 2:22 A Ghost Story alongside Cheryl Cole.
After explaining the premise of the show and what he did for research into his role (spending the night at one of South London's most haunted abodes), the topic of the EastEnders' cryptic and highly-anticipated Christmas flash forward scene in which viewers saw Sharon Watts - played by Letitia Dean - donning a wedding gown and confirming the death of one of the soap's character. But which character, no-one will know until Christmas 2023. Read more on that here.
And with a former EastEnder's star, who played Max Branning, on the panel, it begged the question: Is Jake Wood the victim of this heinous crime?

Nadia Sawalha said to the actor and podcaster, who left the iconic soap in February 2021: "Just quickly then, a couple of weeks ago there was a flash forward episode of EastEnders and there was a murder! And there's been chat that you might be the murderer."
"Well, who knows? You never know" Jake said, before Nadia quickly corrected herself, confirming he'd been suspected as "The victim, sorry, not the murderer".
Jake continued: "You never know. It's fascinating how they've done it. I think it's really clever. Cause everyone's still talking about it."
Judi Love chimed in, joking: "There's a list of women that would want to kill you, though," referring to his characters exploits over his 15 years on the Square - some of which include being accused of murdering Lucy Beale as well as having an affair with his son's wife Stacey Slater.
"There's a long list, yeah. Not here, I hope!" Jake laughed, as their interview concluded.
The flash-forward scene the Loose Women are referencing kicks off a huge storyline that will be taking place throughout the year. Viewers will now have to wait 10 months before they find out who dies. Although there have been a few sneaky hints that have had fans of the show getting their detective gloves on; mystery cufflinks, Linda Carter's split lip, a suit of armour in the background of the scene and a smashed bottle. Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1 at 12:30pm.
